Another reason why I love Wisdom of the Earth and essential oils in general...
Recently, I contacted my aromatherapy educators and mentors and asked which oil(s) they would suggest for someone struggling with forgiveness and letting go.
Here was the (immediate) response:
Geranium- known as a calmer, anti-depressant. "Often when we try to control stuff, we realize our limitations and then are afraid to let go"
Tangerine- helps to address irritability, is an anti-depressant, and a relaxant
Bergamot- this is a great essence to use on all 3 levels: mental, emotional, and energetic (can clear the energy field on many levels); addresses anxiety, depression, boundary issues; "assists you in finding your inner knowing & light"
Any of the "blue" essences (blue cypress, blue chamomile, etc.)- will help to work on the 5th chakra and allows you to "speak your truth"
Any of the lavenders (lavender fine, lavender highland 1800, etc.)- relaxants and "they all work on strengthening our connection to divine love"
Sandalwood or Amyris ("poor man's Sandalwood")- helps to address insecurities and over-active emotions
Hyssop- balances mood swings, helps with depression, the "queen of letting go and forgiveness"
Balsam Copia- the "peace teacher", "helps in quieting the mind"
Don't these all sound amazing? How can you go wrong? If you'd like to see the full list of available oils and their prices, click here.
