I've created this list of remedies you may find helpful when recuperating from creating and birthing another human being (or two, or three). These also make a thoughtful "mom" gift for a friend or family member who has recently gone through L & D. After the baby is born, it is ALL about the baby and the Mom is kind of forgotten in a sense. A gift for Mom on her healing journey will be very much appreciated and go a long way, trust me!
Lactation: Anise Seed, Dill Seed, Fennel, Lemongrass *Indian*, Black Cumin
Anti-Depressant (think PPD): Basil, Geranium, feverfew, Hyssop, Manuka, Neroli
C-section scars: Helichrysum *italicum*, Lavender/Lavandin, Manuka, Spikenard
Stool softener: Juniper Berry
“Promotes restful sleep”: Ylang Ylang
To stop bleeding: Cistus
Headaches: Basil/Fir family, Rosemary
Hair Loss: Cedarwood, Lavender/Lavandin, Rosemary
