Welcome to Moms in Harmony, I'm so glad you're here!
My name is Meg and I'm a new Mom living, breathing, and dreaming in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Living and promoting a healthy lifestyle has always been a focus of mine, ever since I can remember. I spent over 13 years of my childhood and teenage years as a competitive gymnast contributing thousands of hours to sweat, tears, and chin-ups. I used my body like a science experiment, testing various foods, exercises, and diets to uncover what the magic combination was that was going to give me the body I so desired. Through many (MANY) trial and errors, I felt like I finally had a grasp on how to properly fuel my body and get it functioning at it's optimal potential.
As life should have it, my magic combination crumbled the glorious moment I found out I was going to be a Mom. After my precious baby girl was born, the dust started to settle, and I was transitioning from "survival" mode to "I-want-to-be- human-again" mode. The same foods and exercises I used to rely on to fuel my body pre-pregnancy, weren't doing the job anymore. My post pregnancy body felt like a stranger I had to get to know and experiment with all over again. This was a changing point for me- after 6 years of making excuses, I decided to take the plunge and enroll in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. This was the catalyst I needed to rediscover how to nourish my new body (and my new family). My goal is to reach as many Moms as I can to help you feel your best. After all, healthy Moms raise healthy children.
